Any Tips?

Question

So I'm convinced that one of the reasons it's hard for me to get pregnant is because of my weight. I'm 24 years old and I only weigh 100 lbs. All of my life I've been like this. I can never keep pounds on me. 
Does anyone have any tips for me? Is there anyone on here that knows of anyone getting pregnant with that weight? I feel kind of hopeless right now...

Your weight normally is only an issue if it affects your periods - for instance if you are very under or over weight you might experience period delays or missing periods - that could affect your reproductive system. But it depends. I was a bit over weight but still got my period every 28 days like clockwork. Only a doctor can tell you if your weight is an issue.

I don’t think so I’m 93lb and I’m 24 I’m 5’0 I have abnormal periods to. I can go 3 months without one sometimes and got pregnant and my children were very big babies for my size body . I had an 8.2lb girl and 7.7lb boy ,he was born early though ,anyways give yourself some time and then see an ob about it

How long have you been ttc? Have you used ovulation predictor kits? I wouldn’t jump to weight being an issue unless you have issues with your cycle and it may or may not be weight. One of my smallest friends has 4 children and can get pregnant with the drop of a hat.

Just make sure your dr has done a full blood panel to rule anything out (ex thyroid issues).  This would identify anything that could impact TTC.  Otherwise if dr says u are healthy, then don’t stress about it (that can impact TTC too)

eat more increase your calorie intake gradually, more meat, more protein, more potatoes
