Was I the only one told by a blood test???

I keep seeing postings of sex by a ultrasound. I was told the sex of my baby by a blood test at 14 weeks.

We are doing blood test in a couple weeks... It's like 99% accurate, way more than ultrasound, and shows any genetic issues.  We aren't doing to test because we would want to terminate if something is wrong, but because I feel like it is important to be prepared.  If our baby will need specialists and surgery, I want the best!

It's not a normal test doctors offices do. Most do the test of you are over 35, but there is one office where I live that is giving the blood test to everyone now.

I've heard blood tests aren't always accurate. I found out on a ultrasound at 11 weeks I was having a boy.

We were given that option but declined the testing, so found out at the anatomy scan instead. 😊
