Hair loss while nursing?

I have been nursing for a little over 4 months and am loosing hair like crazy! In the shower and when I brush my hair! Anyone have any home remedies to help my hair?

It’s not because you’re nursing. During pregnancy you hold onto the hair you would normally shed each day. Usually a few months after giving birth all that hair starts to shed. So instead of losing a little each day you end up losing LOTS in a few months.

I had a dream last night that ALL of my hair fell out and I was holding it in my hands and crying 😭 Ready for the fall out to slow down!!

I loose a few strands at a time. I try not to brush or style too often. I never brush my hair when wet- I loose the most when I do. I braid my hair often- French braids, milk maid type, straight back, I've gotten good at it! 😂😅 
The braiding seems to help, because my hair isn't being roughed up and touched a lot. Other than that I use a gentle shampoo, and only condition once a week at most.

I literally can’t do anything with my hair because if I style it it gets tangled right away from the loose hairs. I’ve just been putting in a bun and hoping it stops soon.

HUGE CLUMPS. It is so disturbing. I am cutting all my hair off tomorrow because I am literally balding.
