Old jeans turned to maternity jeans...

Not long ago I saw on YouTube how to turn old jeans into maternity jeans by cutting out the pockets & sewing in elastic. For $5 I went & bought the thick elastic & took an old pair of my comfy jeans & tried this. It worked out great. The elastic leaves plenty of room for growing belly. I can button & zip the jeans so they are comfortable. I am actually very surprised at how well this really worked. Tonight I am going to start working on my second pair. So for $5 I was able to get 2 pair of comfortable maternity jeans. Can’t complain about the price at all. The jeans have already been worn in because I have had them for years. If you have a little extra time I definitely suggest doing this.
