I tested 6 days before my period was due and got a faint positive! Tested again over the next few days and it darkened. Almost 7 weeks now!

I would recommend waiting until you're late because it can take up to 12dpo to implant and then 3-5days for your hcg levels to build enough to pick up on a test. that's why the instructions say to wait until you miss your period.
