Dark line on stomach?

22w3d and getting that dark line... I didn't think I would get it, I don't know why maybe because I am overweight and already have a good layer of body fat covering my abdomen.... anyone know where this line comes from and why?? I have tons of hair on my tummy already thanks to this pregnancy what else is going to happen to it lol. And does the line go away??

Linea nigra- is due to increased melanocyte-stimulating hormone made by the placenta, which also causes melasma( dark spots,skin discoloration) and darkened nipples.

I thought I wouldn't get it with this pregnancy because I didn't get it with my first but mine is super light and can barley see it. But don't worry it will go away after baby:)

The line goes away! Some women get it some don't. Size doesn't matter!

It'll go away don't worry... I had it with both of my other pregnancies and again with this one. Lol mine is always curved too for some reason :) I got mine with this pregnancy at 15 weeks I'm 18 now
