BV and spotting. Has anyone had this?

I am six weeks and spotted brown for a week. The doctor told me I had a bacterial infection and gave me antibiotics. Has anyone had this experience? Did it go away and how did you prevent it?

I had bv twice in one month (2nd trimester), as well as 3 yeast infections that same month, too! THey treated me.. The only way I keep them gone, is I SWEAR BY PROBIOTCS NOW!
