Tbh I don't care, but my partner is 7 inches (We measured the other day out of amusement and were surprised, he had a massive smile on his face lol) and that seems good to me. If I had to answer the too big/small thing, I'd say below 5 is too small and above 8 is too big? But girth comes into play as well tho
