Heavy bleeding

So I had a 26 day cycle. Happens occasionally but not to often. Usually have a 30 day cycle. So I was 4 days early. Period has been very heavy and tons of clots. Also I’m day 4 and it should be done today but doesn’t look like it’s going to be. Maybe tomorrow. Sorry for the TMI. Someone told me that an early period can sometimes mean an early miscarriage. Before you even know you are pregnant. Which I think is called a chemical pregnancy? Maybe? Anyways I’m just curious if that’s what happened and if there’s a way you can tell. I ovulated on CD 16 and got my period on what would of been 11dpo. Also bbt was not completely below covering when it came but it was very low the next day. Does anyone know? Haven’t really thought about it until someone said something because my cycles have ranged from 26-32 days.
