Period question - TMI?

Hi.

I’ve been having really weird periods lately. Maybe for the last 5-6 months. I can tell when it’s coming, then I’ll get some brown blood, then it will stop for two days, a little more brown, stop, then maybe some actual blood, but only a little. Then stop.

My current one, I had brown blood about four days ago. Since then nothing. My normal periods are very heavy and very red. I can never get away without a tampon and I haven’t used one in a while.

Any ideas? I know I need to check with a doctor, just wondering if anyone has ideas.
