My son is 6 weeks old and has acid reflux. He was born 5 weeks early and had to stay in the NICU for 2 weeks due to the reflux. He’s been sleeping in a Danny sling since day one! He’s on Zantac for another month but he just seems miserable! He grunts, squirms, and fusses for about 30 mins after each bottle. (He’s formula fed on Enfamil right now) He usually burps pretty well and surprisingly doesn’t spit up a whole lot. His reflux nurse calls me once every two weeks to see how he’s doing. Anyways I’m wondering if anyone else has a baby with reflux? What have you found that works for your baby? I just feel like my son is miserable and so uncomfortable!! His doctor keeps saying to give it time and he will grow out of it. I feel the medicine doesn’t help either. The doctor told me that switching to a gassy formula wouldn’t make a difference. I just feel so helpless to him when he seems like he’s in pain with all the gas/reflux.
