my 2 1/2 year old has a blanket that he’s had for a while now. i don’t know what it is about this blanket but he just got really attached to it. it goes everywhere with us...the car, the store, the zoo...EVERYWHERE! he refuses to leave it home and even at home he drags this thing around with him all day. he has another one that looks exactly like his blanket just not as ragged and gross but will not use it. it doesn’t really bother me cause i don’t feel like it’s hurting him or anyone else for him to have it but it drives my husband crazy. i agree it gets old taking it all the time and it’s getting pretty worn out but is it really that big of a deal? should i make him get rid of it? he’ll start pre-school after the summer and i feel like that will be a hard transition for him to make because obviously he can’t take his blanket to school but idk. i guess i just don’t see the issue right now? am i wrong?
