Is cramping an early symptom?

I am 12 dpo and I have been having on and off cramps for the last day or two. Today is a bit more intense. I usually have an irregular cycle, but I am on my fist round of Clomid so my period is expected to be here soonish. These cramps feel like AF cramps but at the same time have a little more sting to them.

Other symptoms: sore nipples (since 3dpo) and very emotional. (I cried this morning because a fitness girl that I follow on Instagram was having such an awesome workout)

Has anyone felt something similar and gotten a BFP?

P.S. I am waiting a few days to test because I am scared of a BFN - so I thought I would hear from you ladies first.
