first ultrasound

I have my first ultrasound next week. I was blessed to get pregnant with IUI #2. I have a lot of support, which I'm so thankful for. I asked my dad if he wanted to come with me next week, but he isn't able. I feel like perhaps I should just go alone? I'm going to do this whole process myself, why not just jump in? Did you have anyone at your first US? I'm not nervous at all, I am just excited to see my teeny tiny babe. Anyone have insight, advice, suggestions?
