I'm not really sure what to do in our situation. Our baby girl may not survive birth, do we still have a baby shower? We do need gifts like clothes and diapers and a car seat, but I don't want to go crazy asking for gifts when the outcome may not be good and then we'll be stuck looking at them thinking about what could have been.

I'm just not sure what to do.

We will have lots of medical bills and travel expenses as we try and do whatever we can for our daughter now. We may need to sell our house, I may lose my job...do we just ask for donations or gift cards to help us along the way?

Any advice?
