I always thought that it was. I had a boyfriend a long time ago, that I REALLY liked, but there was SOMETHING about him, it's like he had no emotion, he was like a robot. It was actually quite scary!😒

Sometimes it's necessary so that you can navigate a situation calmly, but if its become a general state of being, then it's not really healthy & should be addressed. It can start as a momentary protective coping mechanism that becomes damaging over time if the initial hurt that caused it is never dealt with
