I went to my midwife for my first official prenatal visit. She asked me if I wanted genetic screenings for Down's and other genetic disorders. She also asked if I wanted to know the gender. I said sure and ended up getting a lot of blood drawn. I always thought this testing wasn't done until at least ten weeks. Any ideas?
