So I just found out Sunday July 5 I am pregnant and called my gyno monday to schedule an appointment and am that said she won't see me until I'm 8-12 weeks.... I am 4 weeks now. So I have a long time to go.

I'm sure this is normal but I'm freaking out a little I think it would help me if I could have a doctor tell me I am pregnant. Cuz it just hasn't sunk in yet. And I feel like that is such a long time to wait. I have so many questions now. Would it be silly for me to go to my family doctor (different from my gyno) and have blood work done? I just don't want to wait another 6 weeks to find anything out!
