anticipation is killing me

I go in for my scheduled csection in 8 days. I will be 39+3.. but having major "braxton hicks" last couple days.. anything happens I'm over here googling does it mean labor is imminent. thia is my 3rd pregnancy so u would think that I know, but my husband remembers more about the end of the previous pregnancies than I do. anyways all day I have been having bad period like cramps and tightening with it. doesnt matter if I drink water lay down it doesn't matter. I had a scare the other day went for walk and half way home I had what I would call a half mile contraction omg hurt so bad. but nothing came of it.
