The letters IUD is too short of a title? lol

I was thinking about getting the Skyla IUD after this baby but I want to know how it’s effected you. I don’t know much about birth control because I’ve never used it before. From what I’ve read it’s pretty much exactly like the Mirena IUD only smaller?

I would it recommend putting anything in ur body I had the iud para guard no hormones which meant I got my period normal . Had it for 6 years it’s meant to be used for up to 10 at first it was uncomfortable it I got usto it then I started having horrible pains after 5 years ! Started developing ovarian cyst , Heavy periods headaches it was horrible removed it and it all went away then I tried to get pregnant which they say u will get pregnant right away bull crap 2 years !!!! I would just stick to the good old fashion pills or condoms !

I had the mirena and it was wonderful! Gave me like 2 periods a year, no hormone side affects, and i never could tell it was there.

I had the mirena before I got pregnant and I LOVED it. I used to work in a GYN office and the size difference between mirena and skyla is literally a couple millimeters. Nothing you would even begin to notice. The IUDs themselves are like less than 2 inches long. Really tho, I dont think you could go wrong with either one.
