My stove just caught on fire....

Literally my stove just caught on fire y’all. I was making some noodles the water wasn’t even boiling yet and it starts smoking like crazy. I cut the burner off and lift the pot and it catches fire ! Not the pot but the actual eye on the stove I put the pot back down and it’s flaming under it. So I grab my baby rush out side and call 911. The fire went out by its self by the time they got there. So 3 different fire trucks and an ambulance came and the fire put its self out. I’m grateful but I feel like an idiot lol they got there and no fire! Not really sure what caused the stove to catch on fire like that but it scared the crap out of me. I’ve never had to deal with something like that and didn’t know what to do or how to put it out. The firemen said I could throw flower on it. Needless to say we will be investing in a fire extinguisher.. so glad me and my infant are okay! 🙌🏼 I’m not even sure what group to even post something like this in..
