She's here! She was born on June 12th @ 1:43p.m
So I'm writing my first ever birth story, keep in mind this is my 2nd pregnancy and birth. I went in on Tuesday June 12th @ 7 in the morning @ 39 weeks exactly to be induced, due date fell on 1 of the worst days for my family. Well they got me checked in and hooked up,they went to put the monitor's on and couldn't find her heart beat where it normally was. She had been in a head down position since week 30 I believe, turns out she was Transverse Breech. So they gave me an epidural and a shot of something to relax my uterus(wish I could remember the name of what it was),I got the epidural about 10 minutes before the shot to relax my uterus. No reaction, about 5 or 10 minutes after the shot to relax my uterus my BP started bottoming out and baby wasn't liking the reaction very well, her heart rate started dropping. They gave me a shot to reverse the effects and stabalize me, after I became stable they wheeled me back to OR to try and get her to turn back to head down position. Once there come to find out she mat again and had did a 180 and flipped to the other side, they started trying to turn her. At first everything was ok, then she got stuck and her heart rate dropped down into the 60's. They decided to do a c-section at this point, completely terrified of everything going on. And I have Anxiety,so of course the entire time that they are doing the surgery my heart rate is staying @ 140. They finally get to her and pull her out,she had her cord wrapped around her neck. They get her wrapped up and I get to look at her, they take her back to evaluate her and see that her heart rate and oxygen are low and not stable. So they put her on oxygen and start an IV,they get her stablized and her color normal. And take her to my room,I'm still in surgery as I wanted my tubes tied. But this delivery was dramtic for me, and my baby still has 1 problem. She can't be on her back at all,she starts gagging and can throw up/will throw up. Most usually it's clear, so we're thinking that she may have acid reflux.. Going to make sure that we do not leave the doctors office till we have some answers and some way to fix the problem,it scares me. 7lbs even and 18 1/2 inchs long
