Health insurance that covers IVF?

First check if your state requires insurance to cover IVF- i live in MD all insurances cover up to 100k by law.

Cigna in Virginia Judy started covering it. Our first round they only did $5000 towards infertility treatments and testing.

Some states have a requirement to cover at least a portion. I’m in MA and there has to be some coverage. But, each one company can manipulate that law their own way. Some cover fully, some only testing and procedures, and some a max dollar limit. If you have an ins company from a coverage mandated state you could have coverage. I’ve heard Starbucks offers coverage

It’s up to your employer, not the insurance company. We’ve had Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for years and it covered my treatments with my husband’s previous employer, he changed jobs recently and now it covers nothing but it’s the same insurance company. There are lists online that have companies that have good infertility coverage, Bank of America and Starbucks are two that I know of.
