Did your doctor find a reason why?

We finally got pregnant with our first on our 11th cycle trying, but I miscarried at 7 weeks. It was devastating, and the grief was SO heavy for a couple of weeks, but I’m grateful to say it has lessened with time and only hits me at random moments now.

What’s been hardest is the fear that we may never get to have a child of our own.

When I said we had been trying almost a year, my OB suggested I come in for an appointment. I miscarried naturally and completely, so didn’t expect any sort of follow up after one miscarriage.

Did you have a follow-up doc appt or discussion of what maybe have caused your miscarriage? I know miscarriage is common and thought I must have bad luck, but my doctor made it sound like there might be a reason why it’s been hard to conceive and why it ended in miscarriage. What could some of those reasons be? Any experience to share??
