I'm having a discussion with my family. When you delivered your baby (NOT by c section) what did your husband wear?

I know if you have a c section they put him in a gown so only answer if it wasn't by a c section please lol

He wore normal clothes both times. Never heard of them having to wear anything special.

The only time my hubby put on anything was during my epidural. He had on a cap and gown over his clothes. But once it was in he took it off.

My husband wore his normal clothes the whole time I was pushing and when we were still expecting vaginal delivery.
They didn't ask him to change until they were wheeling me in for an emergency csection.
They won't make your husband change lol

My doctor said my fiancee will have to wear scrubs for the birth. I'm having twins so i would deliver in a theatre just in case i might have to get a c-section or etc. I'm pretty sure in a healthy singleton pregnancy, he probably won't have to wear scrubs.

I just came across a picture of my grandfather holding my now 22yo cousin. He had a long sleeve yellow robe looking thing on and I asked why. My grandma said that's just how they did it back then when you went in to visit a newborn. They are from a smaller town, not sure if that makes a difference or not.
