Pregnancy Announcement

Today (of all days!!!!) I got a positive pregnancy test!!! What?! Omg!! I was freaking out. This first test I took was just to prove to a friend that it was just going to be negative. After waiting the super long 3 minutes I came back and saw 2 pink lines!!! 🤭🤭🤭

My husband and I got married in June of 2017. We’ve been trying to get pregnant since then. If we hadn’t gotten pregnant by the end of August I would have gone to see a fertility specialist. I thought there could be something wrong since it had been almost a year and I hadn’t gotten a positive test yet.

While trying to figure out how to tell my husband I went to get some things to surprise him when he got home from work. I bought a shirt that says “My favorite people call me Dad”, a while pair of booties, and I stuffed all FIVE positive tests in the bag.

His reaction was absolutely priceless. I’m so glad I recorded it. Since today is Sunday I’ll call the Dr tomorrow. I was a bit skeptical at first with just 1 positive but the other 4 tests popped up positive almost 30-45 seconds after I dipped them. Absolutely nothing faint about any of those lines!!! 😁😁🤩🤩🤰🏻🤰🏻🤰🏻🤰🏻

According to this lovely app, I am about 5 weeks and a couple days along. I can’t stop shaking and grinning. My husband left for his second job shaking and grinning as well!!!

Baby dust to the rest of you that are still trying. Don’t give up!!! I almost did and I’m so glad I didn’t!!!
