Today is an exciting day!

I couldn't have asked for a better day. Yes, it is Father's Day and I was hoping for a BIG FAT POSITIVE. I'm 11 DPO and we have been ttc for 6 months. However, my body has other plans and I still tested negative.

But, today is not about me. My cousin, who has been my person since I was born, just had a baby today. She is 35 and has severe PCOS, and she has tried for pretty much 15 years on and off with the help of infertility medications. They stopped tracking things this last year and she happened to get pregnant out of the blue! Such a wonderful surprise! Today she welcomed a baby boy, and our family is beyond ecstatic as it is my aunt and uncle's first grandchild. I'm so incredibly happy for them! This baby is such a blessing to their family!

To top that off, my best friend, who also has PCOS, had her first child a few years ago. It took well over 2 years to conceive their first, and when they finally decided to call it quits on the medication, they got pregnant! They tried to conceive #2 for several months on medication, but her body just could not tolerate it anymore. A year or so later, they are ready to try again and she starts her medication. She announced today that they are expecting baby number 2 (only 1 round of medication) after a miscarriage a few months ago, and my heart is just so full!

I am sad that it is not my time, but I am so BEYOND thrilled that these women have received their blessings! I just wanted to share what an awesome day it has been!

Baby dust to all who are ttc!
