Yeah, I think it depends on the situation. Especially if you formed the friendship should they were in their relationship. For example, my sister met this guy and they were together for about a year and a half. I told her as soon as I started getting “attached” that if anything were to happen to him, I’d want to keep my relationship with him and she was okay with it. They’ve been broken up for about a year and he is like a brother to me. I still go out with him, text, and even go to his just to see him. I think it just depends on the situation. I would also take your friends feeling to mind but I don’t know if I would base my decision solely on her. Now of course, this also varies because I wouldn’t want to be friends with him after he beat on her or something but if it was a “we just grew apart relationship” I don’t see why now.
