A little over a week ago i just opened a bank account with chase & at the same time applied for a credit card (freedom unlimited) to be exact. I didn’t get approve because I don’t have a credit history basically. Should i purchase a living room & pay it in payments to make credit & then reapply or apply for a secured card like capital one since that’s the one i see people mostly aim for? I’m kinda new to this & on my 20’s so i feel like i need to start somewhere already. Thanks!
