What is love?

I really cant say i know what love is i never had  a real love. I loved but was never really loved back. Am in a relationship where he shows me he loves me but down inside i feel he don't we just loss twins today but he ain't showing no emotion of being . how do i tell him this none emotional relationship is killin me

Guys often think they need to be tough and stoic or they are not manly enough.  Many are strongly encouraged to show no emotion as boys.  That can be a very difficult thing to overcome. 
Keep in mind that everyone grieves differently and just because he isn't grieving like you does not mean heartbroken.  Talk to him, tell him you need him right now.  Not to be strong, just to help you through.  Tell him what you need from him, don't ask for tears, he might not be able to give you that.

First Im so sorry for the lost of your babies.

Just tell him you need to know how he feels. Most men don't get the emotional attachment to a child until the baby actually comes or further in the pregnancy, but it still doesn't mean he's not feeling some type of way. I feel my man loves me because he shows me so much love when I am unloveable. Now is the time for him to express his love and empathy for you. Men are very numb to emotions but it sounds like y'all definitely need a heart to heart. Best wishes

Everyone shows emotion differently, especially during loss. I miscarried in January of this year and it tore me up immediately but for my husband it was delayed. He couldn't tackle the feelings due to non stop work and other things. Once we actually talked to each other about it I realized he felt just as lost as I did. Just give him some time to process and be there for him. To answer your ultimate question- love is putting someone else's needs before yours and feeling that way unconditionally. My husband drives me nuts sometimes but I think that is what makes me love him more each day!

Love is different for everyone. For me, it's not about the butterflies or the giddy feeling I get when I see my husband. It's about sitting there and doing nothing, and feeling comfortable with that. It's making a fool of yourself and not being embarrassed.

When I'm with my husband, I feel like I'm at home. I don't need to try too hard. Things just work. We've been together for 6 years and married for 4. So far we must be doing something right.
