Would you rather be induced or let baby come when ready?

My first was induced due to high blood pressure and it sucked.. I believe I was allergic to latex which caused me to swell worse and also by the time it was time to push I had no energy and my baby got stuck sideways and I almost had to have a c-section. This time I’m hoping to be able to let the baby come maybe it won’t suck as bad?? My last afterbirth was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced in my life much worse than the labor.

Personally, I'd like to give baby as much time to come naturally as possible, but there are important medical reasons that doctors may need to induce, not just for you, but for baby.

Unless there are medical reasons for an induction I believe they are unethical. Without medical reasons I would (and have) refuse an induction before 42 weeks.

my doctors wouldnt schedule an induction unless time was running out. 
...and that's what happened, he was healthy as could be, but just didn't want to come out and we were pushing 41 weeks 4 days. in that last week alone I was in so much pain that's when I got all my stretch marks and I felt like he was going to rip out from my stomach. so I got induced.
