I just found out I’m pregnant WHAT DO I DO NOW ?

Hi I just found out I’m pregnant. Am I supposed to call my provider  or do I have to wait until I’m further along ? I was sent to an OBGYN to start infertility so I do if I contact the OBGYN or my doctor.  What happens from here.

Calm down and call your PCM. You will need to make an appointment with them to do a pee test. Once you do that, they will confirm and then allow you to make an appointment with the OB. From there you will make an appointment with them to get a nurse Intake, run all the tests/bloodwork needed. After that, you will make another appointment a few weeks later for your first ultrasound to get the dating (8-12 weeks) and then finally, your first appointment with the actual doctor. I know it will seem frustrating and slow because they don't find the urgency that you feel but it will be okay. I will FINALLY see an OBGYN at 15 weeks and 3 days. Until that, I have just done my thing and tried to stay active and healthy. Find some girlfriends that have or are going through the same thing right now. They will be a lot of help. Also, pick up some books on pregnancy!
