I like the Mayo Clinic Guide to Pregnancy better.  Just more straight forward, less old fashioned feeling.

Must read: Expecting Better by Emily Oster. 
She’s an economics professor who went through hundreds of research/academic papers to figure out what studies actually said about XYZ pregnancy Do’s and Don’ts. 
A ton of the advice we have all heard has been filtered through click-baity journalism and bad science, and she distills the research in a super accessible way so you can figure out what choice is right for you (on coffee, catboxes, exercise, alcohol, tuna sandwiches, what have you). 
I know I’m late to this thread but figured I’d add this for anyone else who comes across this post!

I didn't read any books, to me a waste. Some ppl swear by them. Find free books if you must read something

I prefer Expecting 411. It’s written by an OBGYN and a pediatrician. Very sound medical advice and covers pretty much everything
