when is it go time?!

I haven't felt any Braxton hicks or really any contractions. :( baby is in position, I'm dialated to a 2, doctor says cervix is thinking nicely. doctor and ultrasound tech both predicted I wasn't going to make it to my due date (June 24). I mean I've been losing mucous for a couple weeks but only a tiny bit of spotting in it a few days ago... I'm starting to think it isn't going to happen!! Is it possible that I wont get any contractions or anything until it is go time?! I have been trying to keep my mind off of it but every night before bed, I get anxious and it makes it even harder to sleep! argh!
