If you were to have a breech baby, would you opt for a c-section or would you try an ECV first?

I know that an ECV comes with some risks....but c-sections do too.

I chose c-section because I tried an ecv with my first, it was very painful and didn’t work, so I wouldn’t opt to have one again

I had a successful version at 37+6 
Had the baby at 38+2
If i didn’t get my version done when I did I would have had to have a c-section which I really didn’t want.

My first kiddo was transverse, had a successful version at 38 weeks.

My daughter was breech & they gave me the option to do that. I looked into it & it just doesn’t sound safe. They shouldnt be pushing on the belly like that. My doctor even told me that they have the emergency room set up Incase something goes wrong for an emergency c section. Everyone is different though & can have there own options.
