How long do you wait until you tell people you're pregnant?

My husband and I decided to wait 3 months before we tell anyone once we conceive. I know it will be so hard not to share the news but I don't want to have that uncomfortable conversation with people if I tell them right away and then lose the baby.

I wish I had the self control to wait. With all 3 of my pregnancies I've spilled the beans within a week of finding out.

With my first pregnancy I was 22 weeks when I announced with my second pregnancy I think I was about 10 weeks we're ttc and with this third pregnancy I don't want to tell anyone until I am actually showing so about 20 to 25 weeks lol it just seems like it takes forever once everyone else knows

After ultrasound to confirm baby alive and well (suffered a couple losses including blighted ovum) tell family
After first trimester tell everyone

Ha! I'm 38 weeks and some friends still don't know! I mean, of course everyone who has seen me knows, but I haven't announced on social media or anything so a lot of people I haven't seen in a while don't know. Yeah, I know it's stupid.  I didn't intend to keep it a secret, I'm just shy and don't like to be the center of attention. 🙈

I didn't start telling people until I was 13 weeks. The only people who knew right away was my sister, sister in law and my mom.

We are TTC #1. We thought of a cool way to announce to his family if the timing is right, would love to be pregnant to tell his mom on her birthday. I think we'll tell our immediate family, and wait til the end of the first trimester to tell everyone else.

We were 11w4d it was Christmas day. We made sure we went for an early scan beforehand though to make sure things were okay.

we are going to tell our parents and best friend after our first scan at 7 weeks. then tell everybody else after 12-14 weeks!
