Did you keep the gender a surprise

I am stuck in between knowing keeping my baby gender surprise. Any advise on why I should or shouldn’t? Like was was you moms favorite things about not knowing or knowing

I always find out because I like to plan. Have more gender specific clothes, which tend to be cuter, and easier to register. I also felt like I had a hard time bonding with my baby while pregnant until I knew the gender and could concentrate on a name and picture how life would go.

I wanted to know because I’m a planner, I wanted to buy things and prepare for the gender of the baby! Plus I assume it’s just as surprising finding out at an ultrasound as it would be in the hospital

I like knowing. It was a fun surprise to find out after 20 weeks, and now I get to refer to him by his name and talk about him as my son rather than a what if him/her/it.
But that's me. I don't like waiting 🤣

My husband was the one that wanted to be surprised. After agreeing to go along with it, I’m so glad that we waited. When my baby was born, he announced “its Charlotte” and I immediately broke into tears. It was amazing.

We didn't find out with our first. I already had my mind made up I didn't want to know so there was no turning back. Do what's best for your. Your baby, your memories. No one else can tell you what you want.

We found out because it was our first baby and of course new parents we wanted to know and buy things and plan. But if I already had a couple I probably would keep it a surprise until birth because we already have major baby items we plan on passing things down that are gender neutral like a swing and bouncer
