FTM daycare

my son is currently 3 yrs old and is in daycare full time, he has been at that daycare for a year now. When I picked him up today I heard as I was parking that I could hear him crying from outside, (they were at the park) I ran inside and asked what happened and his teacher told me she took a little car away from him because kids are not allowed to bring inside toys outside, He was also standing in the corner alone just crying. I was pissed, this is the first time something like this happens, I also saw her SNATCH toys from other kids as well. I left and didn’t say anything else. Did I overreact?
