Ivo for a Boy? How would you pronounce?

I think its more common in Germany - but how would you pronounce in the US? Spelling with E makes me think Evil...

I'd be inclined to say Eye-vo. I assume I'm wrong and it's Ee-vo? In that case, I do think it sounds too similar to evil for my taste.
