When did your baby stop needing mits or socks on their hands?

When did you stop putting mitts on your baby's hands to keep her from scratching herself?

We never really use them. They’re swaddled when they’re sleeping (which is most of the time the first few months) and I keep their nails filed so they’re not to lo scratchy.

My son absolutely hated them so we never really used them. I just had to file his nails every couple days, which was no fun.
