Why on earth would my MIL send me this?

Seriously?! What's she thinking?!

She sent me this stupid email forward today.
1. It's just made up "facts".
2. She knows I'm giving birth to my first in just a few weeks! 
3. Who sends this kind of crap to a new mom who is already scared enough!?

I've seen that "fact" posted all over the internet... It's actually made up. There is no such measurement as a "Del". In any case, you'll be fine! don't stress. Labor and delivery was my absolute favorite part of pregnancy. Hands down. People think I'm crazy when I say that but it's true! It's so exciting and intense, adrenaline takes over and the pain is nothing compared to the amount of pure love you'll feel when you hold that baby!!

Our bodies are built to do this 💪🏼 I've had two boys and both of the labours felt completely different to each other ! One woman's story will not be the same for another we all deal with things differently and in our own way but if there's one thing we're good at its bringing life into this world x

My MIL has a PhD in psychology. She would never send me something like this, mainly because it's false. What she would do though, is keep all of her opinions and knowledge bottled up, which is worse in my opinion.
