Making a high school relationship work in college?

My bf and I are going to different colleges, they’re not far away but both of us want to make this relationship work through college. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make that happen?

You’ll both be living different lives and be busy, so you both have to be understanding of that. Try to talk on the phone/FaceTime regularly. Make each other feel involved by telling the other about your college friends and experiences. Send snapchats. Try to visit each other a couple times a month. The key is communication.

It’s possible but it’s rare that this works out unfortunately some people do not have the patience ... you have to remember you’re both at very different stages in your life that’s why people make the choice to not date people in high school or a year behind.
