Ok so I was diagnosed with genital herpes over a year ago, and I’ve been taking the anti viral medications to prevent an outbreak close to Labor. I am due in 1 week and I am having the beginning signs of an outbreak. I have an appointment tomorrow with my midwife, where I will ask her this question, but I’m hoping to get some insight before then. I’m wondering if since I’m so close to delivering if they might just go ahead and schedule a csection..? Or will they try to make me wait it out & see what happens? I’d rather not do that but at the end of the day they’re the professionals so I’ll have to do what they say..
