Tdap/ flu shot

Ok I’m iffy about vaccines because every time I get the flu vaccine I end up with the flu. My cousin had the tdap and he gets whooping cough 4/5 times a year. And his brother has had whooping cough twice and he’s a year old his mom was pregnant and got tdap. I’m not against vaccines because I’ve never had hep, polio or anything else except the flu. But I’m just iffy. My immune system is low atm and I can’t afford to get sick. He said it helps build their immune system. But every time I get the flu I almost die. Like hospitalization almost die. I can’t afford getting sick while pregnant and something happens to my daughter. He wants me to get the tdap and flu shot. I don’t know what to do.
