Nighttime baby clothes and no A/C

I have a one year old and no air conditioning. When I put her to bed it can be 85 degrees outside so we’ve got the fans on and the windows wide open and I dress her minimally (sometimes just a tank top and diaper).

But a few hours later/towards the middle of the night, it can be as cold as 50 degrees outside. But I’ve still got the windows open and the fans going and I’m asleep. Now I just get under the covers if I’m cold but my daughter isn’t old enough to know how to use a blanket and she moves around a lot anyways.

My dilemma is: how can I make sure she’s cool enough in the beginning of the night but warm enough in the middle of the night? The last few nights been going in there when I go to bed to shut the windows but I always worry I’ll wake her (and it’s a LONG process to get her back to sleep!) Any other ideas? What do you do?
