Both. We literally discuss everything before hand.

Both. Both work full time, both help with the kiddo, both clean the house, we talk about everything before making a decision.

I’m not married yet, but my fiancé and I live together. Definitely my fiancé. We both like it that way. He works, I stay at home and do online classes. I clean and cook. We discuss things together, but he usually makes the big financial decisions and what not because he’s just better at all of that then I am. We are pretty traditional and it works for us this way

I’m pretty old fashioned when it comes to my relationship. For the time being, he makes more money than I do (when I get out of college and start my new job, I’ll be making the same or more than him), pays more bills than I do, and works more than I do. I would consider him the head of the house, but we pretty much discuss everything together before any major decisions.

When I get married, I’ll be the one who takes care of the house (cooking, cleaning, kids) on top of my job while my husband provides for our family and protects our house. I know it’s pretty old fashioned, but that’s just me.

My husband is the head because I like to honor him. But he has no mind for money so I look after all the money issues.

I have a husband with epilepsy so his seizures pretty much make it hard for him to work since he can’t drive. I make enough at my current job that we can afford for him to be home and me work. I actually like it because my husband keeps house and does things so when i get home, i can relax. I suppose it’s the opposite of the stereotype of women staying home and men working. 😆

Tax wise I have always filed head of household because we are not married and I have children not his. 
Bill wise, he pays the rent I cover the other bills and pay for food and my vehicle. We end up paying roughly the same amount. I handle all the paperwork/sending bill payments/household shopping since he hates shopping.

Not the ‘head of the household’ but I’ve always wanted a partner whom I can rely on when I don’t have a solution to a particular situation, someone who knows what to do in any given situation, without compromising my best interest.
