Please share a pic of your baby/toddler play area?

Our LO is one and I’m trying to figure out a play area within our living room.

this was taken recently before we put the matt back down and when it was clean-ish

I decided to take some updated pictures for this post right now and .... 🤦

we don't mind it being a wreck though, we pick it up every night and let her go to town during the day. it is all contained in this one room which is nice. everything is toddler accessible.
we also have a play area in her bedroom

no electronic toys are allowed in the bedroom and everything is also picked up every night. my daughter is even able to help now a bit (sometimes it causes more mess 😂 but she is learning).

I would, but it's a freaken disaster! lol and probably won't get properly cleaned until after baby comes.

he's almost 3 months so right now we only have a few things in our open living/dinning room

our 1 year old plays in her brother and sisters rooms as well but when they are not in their rooms she has her areas which include her bedroom, our tv/toy room, and the living room

ignore the box spring behind the couch haha our 1 year old isn't ready for suck a high bed yet but these two pics are our tv/toy room

I also pick up before morning and afternoon snack time, before lunch and naptime, and before supper and bedtime...she tends to go after different toys when I do so and when she first wakes in the morning she spends an hour playing in her bedroom and after naptime she usually plays for half an hour in her bedroom. and the rest of the day she follows her older two to their rooms and the tv room to play and at times she likes being alone in the living room as well

We basically have our play area downstairs in our finished basement. There is no room in our living room to set one up and so we only keep a few toys up there for when we are hanging out up stairs but for the most part everything is downstairs. We bought those foam numbers/letter that go together to make a mat and all his toys are on top of it. I don’t really have a good picture of it at all but you can kind of see in the first picture the mat we put down and then some toys and in the second picture if you look in he background by the dog you can kind of see it. We have it in the corner (don’t mind the towel over the window 😂 we don’t have curtains for those and it was bright).

I like my room tidy which is hard of course with one one year old but we have a fold away ball pool which I put out during the day and all her toys in side that. I like it packed away by 7 ready for bath time and my living room back to normal lol. The rest is all outside toys for when we weather is nice to keep the house tidy  xD
