Cramps?

Question

Hello, I just got my first BFP today and am very excited. However, I've been having bad cramps for the last two weeks. Did anyone experience this in early stages of pregnancy? I'll be heading to the doctor as soon as I can to confirm preg and make sure everything is normal. Just looking to see what others experienced.

I'm at almost 8 weeks and still cramping! My doc said, "your body is doing something it's never done before, it's normal!" It's just everything growing and stretching.

I'm 5 weeks 2 days, and have cramps here and there. Very normal. Doctor said it might feel like your period could come on at any time! Annoying but at least I know something is going on down there :)

I didn't know I was pregnant until I went to the doc for really bad cramps. Thought it might have been endo. He said it's not a good sign and to not get my hopes up for the pregnancy to stick :( Now I'm confused.

Cramps during early pregnancy is very normal! I got my BFP before my AF was due. my cramps were def there and I kept thinking my period was gonna come...my cramps lasted till around weeks 6. I'm now 14+5 weeks and everything is good :)

I'm at about 5 weeks and I've had cramps too!

​During week 3 it was more like a pinching/pulling feeling, and now it's an overall cramp, usually when I have to pee.

​I visited a doctor recently and was told that it can be due to stretching of the uterus and that as long as the cramps aren't worse than your usual period cramps and aren't accompanied by bleeding, everything should be okay.

​They can't diagnose an ectopic until 8 weeks anyway, at which point if there's bleeding or cramps get worse, one should go to the hospital and get an ultrasound.

​Also if you're constipated like I've been (yuck) that can also cause cramps. The doctor told me that as long as I know that I'm not anemic, I don't have to take the prenatals that contain iron, because that causes constipation so I switched to gummy prenatals and feel much better.

I'm only about 5 weeks I been feeling a lil cramps here and there usually when I'm doing too much...as long as there's no bleeding I think it's normal

I had cramps from about 4 to 5 weeks. It was uncomfortable and felt like a lot of stretching but it went away at about 5 weeks.

I actually had cramps for like 4 weeks or so ... They didn't stop until wk 8 ! Doc says it's implantation !
