Do doctors write the gender in the chart?

We had our ultrasound today and we want our gender to be a surprise. Not sure if we need to keep reminding her we don't want to know!

My healthcare service makes a note about whether or not you want to know and act accordingly. Best solution is to ask the policy.

We told the tech we didn't want to know so all she noted was if everything was developing properly not anything specific. I think it depends on the facility 🤷

This is one of my fears too! My doctor says there is a note everyone sees when I come in. But I still don’t trust it and therefore everytime I see someone I say we are waiting to be surprised. I’m a broken record but just don’t want it to be spoiled.

Depends on the dr/ultrasound tech. My ultrasound tech said she doesn’t tell the doctor what the sex of the baby is unless the parents ask because she is afraid of slip ups. But some might. I would just ask your doctor if they know or not. If they do then keep reminding! With my son we found out and our dr asked us if we found out before saying anything. We aren’t finding out for this one. 😊
