I'm a non-denominational Christian. Religion is very important to me, if you were in my shoes, would you ever consider dating someone that isn't of the same religion?

I have, and it doesn’t go well. A lot of times we get into the mindset that we can lead them to Jesus, and maybe we can, but a lot of times they lead us away. God calls us to be in relationship with other Christians who are leading us closer to God.

I wouldn't date someone of another religion, but I'll date someone of a different Christian denominations to me. However, that's conditional too as I want to be married in the Catholic Church and my children will be raised Catholic. Thankfully my boyfriend is perfectly ok with that. He's Christian but doesn't identify with any church at all.

I've dated a few atheists, which, can be annoying at times, but it's the same as dating a follower of any god, from my experience. But, I'd never date a Muslim because, well, that was pushed my whole life, and, if I'm being honest, I wouldn't wanna risk it if ya know what I'm saying

Learned the hard way it usually doesn't go well. My husband was not Christian when I met him, but I was clear with him before we dated that I wouldn't consider him as a prospect unless he was open to knowing the Lord and I wouldn't marry him if he wasn't Christian. Now we're happily married and enjoy God at the center of our marriage.

Okay I married someone that wasn’t equally yoked. It has been THE hardest journey ever. I do believe that God is sovereign and has a plan.  But I believe that there is a reason the Bible warns against it. It is SO SO hard. And don’t bother having kids with someone when you don’t share the same beliefs. It makes it 100 times more difficult. Blessings to you.
